Meet the MACC Instructors

                                 SUSAN GREGORY

Susan Gregory is the founder and head instructor for the MACC.  Susan has been professionally grooming for 15 years.  When she is not inspiring the imagination of her students, she can usually be found (in her muck boots, of course) training her three boys Roman, Redford & Nelson (aka- Gumpah, Scoodge and The Nubbs) for AKC hunt test & field trial competitions.  Susan is the Vice President of the Pointer Association of New England (P.A.N.E.) and is a member of the NEPGP (New England Pet Grooming Professionals).  Susan and her pointer Roman are also Hospice Volunteers in the greater Newburyport area.  Susan is also an advanced Level II Reiki practitioner.  Susan's passion for starting the MACC was to help in raising the standards of the ever so important pet care industry.

                                        TERESA STEWART

Teresa Stewart is an instructor at the MACC where she has been professionally grooming for almost 10 years.  Athena her domesticated dingo (not really, but we like to pretend) accompanies her to work daily to help oversee public relations at the salon.  Teresa caters to our elderly and special needs pet clients.  Teresa's patience, reverence and compassion when teaching students or styling her pet clients is always clearly evident and greatly appreciated by all.  Teresa is also a level I Reiki practitioner.

                                             JAQUE POWELL

Jaque Powell another of our talented instructors has been a professional groomer for 5 years. Jaque is pictured with her beloved dog Clyde whom she adopted at a shelter event that was held at our school a couple of years ago. Jaque is a certified aroma therapist and is instrumental in sharing her knowledge with her students on the various holistic approaches to caring for their pet clients. Jaque also caters to our "delicate flower" pet clients that require delicate handling.  Jaque is also Level I Reiki Certified.
